I got all the ground fighting i needed in aiki jiu jitsu, i dont need bjj or anything like that, lol.

edit: here is my only pic, like i said i hurt my back at the gym, couldnt train for about a year, and was doing therapy, i look very different now, i have about 9 more tattoo's, i got back in shape since then, but my beard is the same, lol

sounds fun. Im having flexibility problems right now that are really holding me back. Any suggestions because while being bigger would help me out a lot. I already am naturally unflexible and as i put on more weight the problem is becoming worse.

aiki jiu jitsu has some strikes, but is based on throws, take downs, submissions, and ground fighting called randori.

stretch every day, while the muscles are warmed up a bit, do alot of leg stretching.

rolling is just the literary equivilant to sparring in a stand up martial arts. 2 folks just grapple till tap or time(usually about 5 minutes then you move on to someone else x4-5)... as opposed to drilling on a certain technique
