I hate it when you go to a store to buy tech goodies and some idiot that obviously has a much lower tech level than you is trying to help you. Like i went to go look for a wireless router and this fool kept trying to steer me towards a piece of shit that is not user friendly and wasn't even 811n i was like omg leave me alone...also how did you get this job i'm 17 and could run circles around you as far as tech knowledge goes

ah yes, but he was attempting to unload his outdated crap on the first gullible looking mark that walked thru his doors (the sign of a good salesman). Maybe you should balance your technical knowlege with some personal grooming knowledge and you will not appear quite as hapless and they will be less willing to target you as an easy mark.

You have to remember that for every one person that knows the salesman is talking pish there are ten more who will nod politely and then buy whatever computer part they're told they need.

While I know enough about computers not to fall into that trap, I'm sure if I went to a gun store for example I'd be the clueless chump nodding politely while I was sold a huge, shiny gun that had the reliability level of a chocolate teapot and the stopping power of a hamster.
