Has anyone here built a custom web template in Photoshop?

Next week I plan on starting to build a web template in Photoshop and importing into Dreamweaver. I'm new to this type of work so I know it will take some time. I need someone here who has done this that I can consult if I have a question. Has anyone here done this and if so what is the learning curve?

you goin php based or standard html code?
do you want interactive coding or just hard code?
disable right click or not>
what fttp client and what cp will you run
php is plug and play basicly just add mods and replace the standard images with your to build the gui
html is more complicated becuase you actualy have to do the work yourself

I'm going with HTML. I'm not going to disable right click, Firefox just ignores that anyway, so it's useless. The FTP client is the standard client that comes on the user CP with GoDaddy hosting. I'm going to slice it up in Photoshop and import into Dreamweaver. I already have a basic template designed, I previewed the code using the "save for web" feature in Photoshop, at the bottom you can preview code by clicking the globe. I will post updates in this thread as I learn.

since you have a template all you have to do is replace the image codes and replace them with your own
but your images have to be the same size as the template or you will have to resize other images to get it to fit
and before you make any changes to the code backup the site just in case something went wierd and it wont work
also heres a good site to get help with html programming
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/
http://myhtmltutorials.com/
http://webdesign.about.com/od/beginn...p/bl_begin.htm

ok its 3 but they all have everything you will need
i have a link ill have to find for a site that will test the code for any bugs for free

Thanks. Yeah, I always back up everything, it's helped me more than once. I'll check out those links later today when I get off work.
