I found this site while surfing the internet. I stumbled onto the "Sparta" thread and thought it was hilarious. I am 41 and I would like to learn more about manipulating graphics. I am a few months shy of retirement and I would like to start a new hobby. Thanks for the site and the laughs.

Thanks...I'll assume that the previous photo is free to use as an Avatar. The main problem I am currently having is creating a transparent background (without submitting to Powerpoint).

Edited to add: I figured out the transparency issue. I guess I sould read more than I post.
