I need help quickly! Due in 2 days!

Alright, my project is too make a cube (don't ask), so I thought I would decorate it with photoshopped animals. I have one already (very bad- black and white birdtiger), but want to make a better one. My question is, how would I get the texture of one animal (and maybe colors too) and combine them together. Like the one I see a lot- a zebra and tiger fish thing, where it has the zebra's texture and colors, but the fish outline. Just wanting it to look more realistic. And where would the correct forum be even though this is my first thread?

Yeah, I've been looking around. I'll look tomorrow, otherwise I'll just stick to my poorly made ones
