I found the link to this site from one of the photoshop groups that i have joined in facebook.

I signed up because I figure there are some really smart people out there who know how to create the text effect seen frequently in movies, etc. where the text appears to be burned into or thru an object or background - e.g. title of a film appears to burn thru a simple black background. I hope that someone knows how to do the animation and anyone who doesn't know can just put in the text he wants to have appear in this fashion. Any ideas. thanks, jcm
